Mental Health Advocacy Day is March 30th, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the South Carolina Statehouse, 1100 Gervais Street, Columbia.
The day of awareness will be hosted by the South Carolina National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). NAMI will be joined by several other advocacy organizations, such as the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and Mental Health America (MHA). It will be a time to discuss current issues such as funding for 988, appropriations, school mental health, privatization, and more. This event is open to the public.
